D&D Group expands traffic management services to Queensland

D&D Group announces its expansion of traffic management services to Queensland with the acquisition of Able Traffic Services Pty Ltd and its assets. Effective 29th April 2016, Able Traffic Services Pty Ltd will be integrated into the D&D Traffic Management business. As a result of this acquisition, the Able Traffic brand will now be known as D&D Traffic Management.

The purchase confirms D&D Group’s commitment to achieve its vision of growth into new markets and supplying traffic management services to more clients across a greater diversity of industries.

The acquisition of Able Traffic Services Pty Ltd increases D&D Traffic Management’s geographic coverage to include all of New South Wales, ACT and Queensland. The purchase also includes Able Roadwork Traffic Analysis Pty Ltd in Sydney, enlarging local resource capacity in the Sydney market.

The expansion has increased D&D Traffic Management’s fleet by 40 and the vast majority of Able Traffic’s 40 employees have joined the D&D Traffic Management business. D&D Traffic Management now boasts a fleet size of over 150 vehicles and equipment and more than 220 employees who are committed to supplying client service with integrity. D&D Traffic Management is dedicated to providing the highest standard in regards to safety, performance and the latest technological innovations including PORTABOOM® and WORKSITE LIVE® to ensure each client is delivered best overall value on every job.
